About the photo journal What I am now calling my photo journal was never really conceived as such; it was more the natural outgrowth of taking a lot of pictures and wanting to share them online. I often focused on my immediate neighborhood, but as I continued shooting, I tended to bring my camera on my various adventures, which led to a website that constituted an ongoing chronicle of the events in my life. When I realized that I was essentially creating a photo journal, I felt like I had license to include pictures that were more journalistic than artistic, that serve more as a record of my having been in a given place than as yet another attempt at producing the piece de resistance of my portfolio. The quality of the work in this section of the site is uneven. For a more focused look at my work, look at my portfolio. What is here is a record of both things I've done and the development of my photographic eye and skill. That having been said, please enjoy viewing my pictures! |
